#Save the soil

In most part of the world if not all most people are familiar with the concepts such as climate change, Air pollution, Carbon Emission, water scarcity, but very few are paying attention on soil.

Soil is one of the principal substrata of life on earth, serving as reservoir of water and nutrients, as a medium for the filteration and breakdown of injurious waste, and as a participant in the cycling if carbon and other elements through the global system.

If the world's soils are not revitalized, they could release 850 tonnes of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere contributing to climate change, as the carbon stored in soil is 3x that in living plants, and 2x that in atmosphere  (Conscious planet 2022)

Poor soil leads to poor nutritional value. Todays fruit and vegetables already contains fewer nutrients.

Scientist discovered that around 27000 species of life forms are becoming extinct every year due to loss of habitat.

A report from the United Nations indicates that the world climate stressed and pollution-degraded farming and agricultural system must shift quickly to sustainable practices to feed an additional 2 billion mouths expected by 2050.

Almost 10% of the 8 billion people living on earth are already undernourished with 3 billion lacking healthy diets, and the land and water resources farmers rely on stressed to "a breaking point". (FAO)
